What Is Tribestan?

Tribestan® is a Bulgarian plant-based product currently manufactured by Sopharma. Current official product information describes it as a product obtained from the aerial parts of Tribulus terrestris L., known in Bulgaria as babini zabi.

The current package shown on this website contains film-coated tablets. Each tablet contains 250 mg of dry Tribulus terrestris herb extract. Current official product information states that the content of furostanol saponins is not less than 112.5 mg per tablet.

Why the word “original” matters

Tribulus terrestris grows in more than one region and appears in many finished products. Those products are not automatically equivalent. A meaningful comparison requires more than the plant name.
